Replay any moment, candle by candle

What Replay does

Replay rewinds the chart to any moment and plays it forward again, one candle at a time, so you can practise reading a market without knowing what comes next.

How to use it

1. Press Replay on the chart’s top bar. A line follows your cursor.
2. Click a candle (tap it on a phone). Every candle after it is hidden.
3. Press play, or step one candle forward or back.
4. Press Realtime to return to the live chart, or the x to leave.

Jump anywhere

Jump to a candle, a date, the oldest loaded candle or a random point. Later candles load as the replay plays, and changing coin or candle size keeps the date you were on.

Speed

Play from 0.1x to 10x, where 1x is one candle a second, or in real time, where a candle takes as long as it really took. Candles can form like live ones: the open, then the wicks, then the close.

Keys

• Shift + Down plays and pauses
• Shift + Right steps forward, Shift + Left steps back
• Shift + H hides the controls, so the chart looks live
• Esc stops choosing a start point

Honest practice

While a replay runs, live prices leave the chart alone, and indicators, drawings and Auto Analyze only see the candles up to the replay point. What you practise on is exactly what you would have seen then.
